Somehow this event has missed her for the most part, her isolation working in her favor in a backward kind of way. She still saw the list however and beyond the fact that some of those requirements fit her, she's so much more simply horrified that anyone would ask for that kind of thing, much less that anyone else would attempt fulfilling it.]

I waaas alright til Vriska showed me the list an' Sai told me some've the residents have been showimg waaay more violent tendencies on top've the threats that Dragonfly douchebag made. I'm helping hold down the fort at The House on the Rock, so Vriska an' Hanna an' I are pretty safe..

Except that Vriska got put on a team too. She's pretty against fillin' out the list though. If you need a safe place, the Taj Maul has a barrier around it an' you can always come to the House on the Rock.

You can count on me, anytime and I'll count on you! ...I really worry they're gonna do somethin' to her. ...an' she, Hanna, Karkat an' John are pretty tough, but.. Vriska an' Karkat are two of the three trolls here livin' in the same household. That probly drastically raises the chance someone'll try an' raid the house for their horns, but I couldn't convince her to move to a safehouse..

Okay. I'm going to go check out the area around you. I'll be careful but at least that way you'll have eyes outside the house too. If I keep moving maybe I'll spot trouble before it gets to you if it's coming. I'll have to do it in shifts to sleep but at least while I'm awake you'll know you've got eyes out there.

Definitely appreciated! I've been patrolling outside an' inside periodically as well as going an' running errands in the Wastes. Here's hopin' the next week goes pretty smoothly...

(ooc. noooooooooo! Wow, he is going to get doted on when he gets his ass back to living again. Maybe if you didn't have the when of the murder/nabbing planned, could he maybe get ganked when it's his patrol shift and Tifa's catching sleep? Otherwise I'll just have her elsewhere and out of the way anyway.)

[Give her a minute to press her lips together and think about that because she's used to just rotating out night watch shifts and this is a little more complex than that. Her answer's going to be a bit dubious in response but at first glance it seems sensible to her at least.]

Maybe every six or seven hours we'd rotate? The more we come and go, the more attention it would attract, wouldn't it? That would give the other watcher time to get somewhere safe and sleep for a good length too so we wouldn't get dull by the end of the week. Maybe a break halfway through to both sleep until we can't anymore and then start again. We don't want to be too obvious a pattern or anyone watching would be able to set up an ambush.

(ooc. no idea. I just saw them plotting in the plotting post. However they go about it, we could figure it happened in an off time, either with Zell already missing and Tifa unaware or aware but needing to sleep sometime or frankly just being on the other side of the circuit at the time. I don't want to interfere with anyone else's plans for this, just give Tifa something to do that's not sit in her house and worry. She can worry while she's doing something lol)

Sounds good. i guess with the sleeping, we can probly curl up in Angeals house or onea the extra rooms in the House on the Rock. Hanna usually doesn't mind guests an' with the circumstancea probly definitely won't.

[Vriska won't necessarily be waiting for Tifa, but she will be in the area-- wearing her rocketboots and flying about ten feet off the ground]

[Ten feet off the ground is actually a reassuring way to find the other girl when Tifa gets into the area. As far as the scavenger hunt's gone so far, Tifa's been pretty unscathed - but recently there have been flickers of light across her skin, helpfully circling harvestable body parts as they come and go. She's busy absently trying to shake out the glowing rings around her fingers when she spots Vriska and some of the tension in her face relaxes despite the situation. She'll leave her greeting as:]

Wow. Nice boots.

[Vriska's pretty somber, as she has been for a few weeks now]

[Tifa doesn't know Vriska well enough to have a baseline to judge her current emotions on and it's not as if they're meeting for exactly cheerful reasons to start with. So she'll pick up on the somber mood but it doesn't occur to her that it might be from things other than the current ones.

though... she did see Loki's post. Anyone the troll felt close enough to to do that, it has to hurt when they're gone...]

Only in the middle of a fight and that's not flying so much as - well, fighting. [She'll pick her way over.] Is that common where you're from?
